Alive’s Summer Mission Trip

Destination: Catholic Heart Work Camp

Louisville, Kentucky

Who:           All Saint Richard teens who will be entering either the eighth grade, or, the ninth grade, in the fall of 2005

What:          You will spend one week working in the Louisville, Ky. area helping the needy.  You will be working on projects such as house/ roof repair, painting, landscaping, mulching, lawn mowing, weed eating, working in low-income day care centers, helping at a soup kitchen or homeless shelter, and more.

When:         July 17 – 23 2005

Where:        Louisville, Ky.

Why:           To carry out Christ’s command to love and serve one another.  “For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for the many.”  Mark 10:45

Cost:           @ $420.00- Includes the cost of the camp, transportation, lodging, and most of the meals while at the camp.  (Price does not include meals while traveling, snacks, our free day activity, or lunch and supper on Friday, July 22.  We will most likely go to 6 Flags in Louisville which cost $20.00 for admission.

Note:          WE WILL DO FUND-RAISERS TO HELP PAY FOR THE COST OF THIS TRIP.  PLEASE DO NOT LET THE COST OF THE TRIP KEEP YOU FROM GOING.

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $75.00 and the enclosed registration form is due in the youth office by no later than Sunday, January 23, 2005.  These trips fill quickly so do not delay too long sending in your deposit. Registration Form
